Maury Microwave Corporation Declaration of Status to RoHS Directive and REACH SVHC

It is the policy of Maury Microwave Corporation (Maury) to provide the highest quality precision microwave measurement and test solutions to our customers.

We strive to conduct all our business with honesty and integrity. We endeavor to provide products and services that meet or exceed, if possible, all legal regulations and/or requirements in their intended markets.

As of July 2006 the European Union market will have begun enforcement of the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. RoHS is supplemental to the Waste of Electrical and Electric Equipment (WEEE) Directive; specifically categories 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10. Maury products are intended for commercial, defense and industrial use only, and are classified within the WEEE/RoHS Category 9 list as monitoring and control equipment.

Additionally, Maury products do not contain any REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as published by the European Chemical Agency (ECHA).

MAURY PRODUCT LINES

The Maury Device Characterization and Noise Calibration System product lines, used as Test and Measurement fixtures, are classified as monitoring and control equipment (category 9). However, Maury is proud to state that most of these products are RoHS compliant. We will continue to ensure that all of these product lines will be in full RoHS compliance. Additionally, these products comply with REACH SVHC requirements.

Maury calibration standards, components and test accessory product lines have been reviewed for RoHS compliance for all restricted substances. Most are manufactured from metal alloys, for which some are known to contain lead in small concentrations below the maximum levels specified by RoHS. To the best of our knowledge all above products have been found to be RoHS compliant. Additionally, these products comply with REACH SVHC requirements.

Maury considers it our corporate social responsibility to limit the use of hazardous substances and shall diligently continue to proceed with the development of products that will continue to meet the requirements of the RoHS Directive and REACH SVHC directives.

Maury is compliant with all local, state, and Federal agencies. Evidence of compliance is maintained on site.
