Applications Engineer
This position supports the Sales and Marketing department with technical pre- and post-sale activities using application and technical knowledge of microwave theory and MMC products to understand customer measurement and characterization requirements. The position involves providing technical support in creating marketing materials, and doing in-house or onsite hands-on demonstration of how the MMC Automated Tuner System can help customers with their overall product design and DC characterization. A BSEE is required, MSEE is desired. Recent graduates may apply. Candidates must be willing to travel domestically and internationally, have excellent communications skills, understand microwave network theory, analog/digital communications theory, and solid-state device theory, have experience using C/C++ software, and be familiar with the vector network analyzer, the spectrum analyzer, the vector signal analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, and other current test and measurement equipment. 5/40 work schedule.
